For the record, state your name, age and current status...
My name is Kazuko Baek and I'm a vampire, which means I'm a master (not that I act like one). I am only 90 years old.
Good. Tell me more about this status if you will.
Seeing as vampires can't have kids, I'm sired by another vampire named Cian O'Brien. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm a master.
You don't mind if I record this right? Now, What are you exactly and how did you come to be that way?
Well, I guess you should know that I'm half Japanese and half Korean. My parents moved to Europe, inspired by all the artwork there. They started moving around the different countries, selling art here and there. When I was born, that did bring them to a bit of a stop in the UK. At some point, my parents gave me my own flat so they could continue traveling for short periods of time without disturbing me too much.
Life was fine until WWII happened. My parents were out during one of their art tours when the world started and I never saw them again. I didn't feel a great absence from this. I did feel sad, but they were always away so I was very independent. Cian found me during the war when I was sketching out a destroyed building. The rest is history.
Oh wait! I guess there's one more thing I have to say. Cian took care of me until he knew how to take care of myself (which didn't take too long). Then he left with Fitz, another fledgeling of his, who is supposed to be my brother. Just recently, he told me that they settled down in Mercy City and that I should come. So that's why I'm here.
Hmmm, Interesting. Before we let you go, Tell us a bit about yourself. Anything you can think of. Weaknesses maybe? Strength? Any special powers we should be aware of?
Art is my life. There is nothing more I can say about it. I have a sketchbook and pencils on me 24/7 and my hands are rarely idle unless I'm modeling for someone. The only time I will ever be mad at someone is if the destroy art or harm anyone I care about. Even though I wasn't extremely close to my parents, I still loved them dearly just as I love my sire and any siblings whether they know about me or not.
Because I'm not very old by vampire standards, I can only use telepathy. It's pretty cool, but I don't really use it much. Actually, the only skills I use regularly are the ones that are enhanced. I'd like to think that my art has greatly improved because of it.
I don't have that many fears. I guess my only fear is that if another war breaks out, I'll never see my family again. I hope to have one here.
