For the record, state your name, age and current status...
My name is Kathleen Orlea and my age is…. 18 technically? I don’t know quite how that works really. I was seventeen when I was turned and that was just last year. I know; I’m super young for being what I am. A vampire. Still hard to grasp sometimes, but then I get the hunger and remember. The vampire that turned me said that makes me a Master, though he didn’t really explain it.
Good. Tell me more about this status if you will.
I suppose if I have to. Last year my little brother set fire to the house my family was living in. My room was the farthest from the kitchen so the last to set ablaze. I was the only one to survive the scene, but just barely. At the hospital though, a doctor saved me and I don’t mean in the sense that I was used to before. He was a vampire and he turned me so that I wouldn’t die. Apparently that makes him my Sire? Anyways, he didn’t want his cover blown so he sent me here to learn about the world and develop my powers.
You don't mind if I record this right? Now, What are you exactly and how did you come to be that way?
You already said this was being recorded when you said this was for the record. So you know. Like I said, I’m apparently a vampire, but I have no idea what that entails. I’m here to learn whatever I can and see where I wind up from there. I would honestly really appreciate if someone older could apprentice me or something but even just being here should help.
Hmmm, Interesting. Before we let you go, Tell us a bit about yourself. Anything you can think of. Weaknesses maybe? Strength? Any special powers we should be aware of?
There’s not too much to me really. I have a cat, I like to read, and I try not to judge. I know how badly my past sucks so there’s a good chance someone else’s past sucks too.
