 The small town of Newport Beach, California appears to be like any other sleepy beach hideaway. The locals are friendly, the tourists can't get enough and the whole town seems to be at the height of economic success with their new mayor. But underneath the picture perfect facade, the ones who appear the happiest and the most content are the most miserable of all: the teenagers.
The teenagers have their own ways of dealing with the stresses of high school, bullying and mental illness. Partying and getting into trouble are just a few of the ways these kids deal with their every day lives. Once a secret of Newport, Caulton Asylum seems to be the talk of the town these days. With more and more young people being admitted into this hellish place, the townies have nothing better to do than to spread gossip and speak dangerously about one another.
